Workspace settings

Workspace-level configuration — name, branding, AI defaults, plan and limits.

Workspace-level settings apply to every operator in this workspace and every conversation it handles. Most are admin-only.

Find them at Workspace.

General

  • Workspace name — appears in the operator app left rail and on outgoing email tickets (as "from" name unless overridden)
  • Default timezone — used for analytics, scheduled agent runs, business-hours rules
  • Currency — used for cost displays in Insights
  • Locale — affects date/number formatting in the operator UI (not the chat widget — visitors get their own locale)

Branding

Visible in the chat widget and in any branded emails sent from Humagician:

  • Logo (light + dark variants)
  • Primary brand color
  • Email "from" name override (if you don't want the workspace name)

Helpdesk mode

Built-in or external (Gorgias / Zendesk / Freshdesk / Intercom). See Helpdesk integrations.

AI defaults

These are the workspace-level defaults that the Responder inherits unless overridden. Listed here for completeness:

  • AI enabled (workspace master toggle)
  • Default reply mode (Auto-respond / Hybrid)
  • Respond when offline
  • Default chat schedule

Limits

Each workspace has plan-based limits:

LimitWhat it means
Tickets / monthHow many tickets your plan covers per cycle
AI interactions / monthConversations Huey participates in
Resolutions / monthConversations resolved without operator handoff
FormsActive contact forms you can publish
ListsActive subscriber lists you can maintain

Current usage shows on the Dashboard limit cards. Hitting a limit doesn't break things immediately — overage is allowed but billed. Customize hard caps in Settings → Plan.

Data retention

  • Open conversations — kept indefinitely
  • Closed conversations — kept for the duration of your plan's retention window (typically 12 months); after that, content is archived but message bodies are PII-redacted
  • Visitor analytics — 90 days

Configure additional retention rules (e.g. shorter for compliance) in Settings → Privacy.

Privacy + PII

  • PII redaction — toggle to mask phone numbers, full credit cards, etc. in stored messages
  • Visitor consent — show a consent banner before chat starts (required for some jurisdictions)

Deleting a workspace

Workspaces can't be self-deleted from the UI (to prevent accidents). Email [email protected] and we'll soft-delete it. You have 30 days to recover; after that it's gone.
